Mix Nashville To Be Held Sept. 13-14 At Soundcheck -- Free To Greater Nashville And Middle TN Residents!
Rescheduled from the May flooding throughout Middle Tennessee, Mix Nashville will now be held Sept. 13-14 at the all-new Soundcheck. Presented by Mix magazine, Mix Nashville includes intensive panels, master classes and new product demos with Nashville's top engineers, producers, artists and music business insiders. This year's lineup features renowned engineer/producers Richard Dodd and Justin Niebank (keynotes), Vance Powell, Joe Palmaccio, Steve Marcantonio and Lou Bradley, plus producer Nathan Chapman (“Anatomy of a Hit” panel). As a special treat, the event is FREE to residents of Greater Nashville and Middle Tennessee! (Attendees will still need to sign up online.) Those who register by Aug. 20 will be eligible to win 10 passes to the opening night VIP party at Ocean Way Studio. Additionally, Mix Nashville has cut the original price in half for non-residents up until the day of show -- $39 for both days! Rock & Load University To Be Held Sept. 18
The flood-rescheduled Rock & Load University will be held in Nashville Sept. 18, when Music's History will meet with Music's Future for a hands-on, interactive, in-depth day of sessions, panels, clinics and a closing show by the greats. Legends like Bill Halverson ( Crosby, Stills Nash & Young, Cream, Beach Boys, REO Speed Wagon), Duane Hitchings (Rod Stewart, Cactus, Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix), Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge, Rod Stewart, Black Sabbath), Kent Wells (Dolly Parton, Reba, Kenny Rogers), Charlie Crowe (Brooks and Dunn), Abe White (The Neville Brothers, Keith Anderson, David Ball), Philip K. Lyon, Stan Webb, Dan Shafer and many more will be on hand to educate, encourage and perform. This is an incredible opportunity for any fan, teacher, performer, player, hobbyist or professional alike. Durango Expo To Be Held In Colorado Feb. Oct. 7-9
