Bio: Family country music shows are where I got my start playing guitar and singing. After that, I fronted a rock band, several country/rock bands, a blues band and performed in a duo with my husband, John. In 1991, I joined the Nashville Songwriters Association, Int. & established a workshop for them in Arkansas through which I've been a student and a teacher of the craft & business of songwriting. In 2000, I released my first CD of original songs and since then have recorded 5 more.  If it hadn’t been for NSAI and their lessons on songwriting and the music business, I would never have fulfilled my dream of having my own CD of music.
